| INFightingShape Fitness Challenge |
Welcome, and thank you for consider registering for the INFighting Shape Fitness Challenge. If you've already signed up for the INFighting Shape 12 week online training program then all you need do is complete the required information below, send it in and you will automatically be registered for the INFighting Shape Fitness Challenge. If you have not enrolled in the IFS 12 week online training program then you need to fill out the required information below and pay the $25.00 registration fee, but don't wait too long the 2010 IFS Fitness challenge begins on January 15, 2010. There will be over $15,000.00 in prizes distributed among the winners, finalists and participants in the 2010 IFS Fitness Challenge, including a Puma folding bike, Oakley sunglasses and sports watches, and Lululemon workout wear. All registrants have an equal chance to win the prizes offered in the INFighting Shape Fitness Challenge regardless of whether the registrant is enrolled in the IFS online training program, or not. INFightingShape Fitness Challenge Registration Form *Required |
There are two ways to win prizes in the INFighting Shape Fitness Challenge. You can win by demonstrating that you have achieved a physical transformation by submitting photos at the beginning an end of the challenge and/ or you can win prizes by finishing as a finalist in the NYC performance finals of the 2010 IFS challenge. Prizes include a trip to NYC, a Puma folding bike, Oakley Orockr sunglasses or a Oakley sports watch, $350.00 worth of Lululemon or Puma workout gear by finishing among the top three finalists in the 2010 IFS Challenge that will be held in NYC in April of 2010. If you wish to be considered for the physical transformation part of the IFS Fitness Challenge you must take and submit your "Before" photos* and your beginning body measurements. *See Rules page for details of photo requirements and beginning measurements. |

| The IFS Body Transformation Challenge |
All persons wishing to participate in the body transformation portion of the challenge are required to submit photographic images and beginning measurements in inches of their chest, waist, hips and thighs. The photographic images must include a frontal view, side view and rear view at the beginning of the contest, six weeks into the contest and at the end of the contest. The frontal view photographic image must display the challenge participants holding a newspaper with the date clearly displayed. Men are required to appear in the images shirtless. Women are required to appear in the image in a top that displays the midriff, shoulders and arms; such as a jog top. The periodical displayed in the beginning photographic image must be dated no later than January 22, 2010. The periodical displayed in the mid challenge photographic image must be dated no later than March 5, 2010. The periodical displayed in the end of challenge photographic image must be dated no later than April 16, 2010. |
| The IFS Performance Challenge |
All persons wishing to participate in the performance portion of the challenge are required to notify IFS world headquarters no later than April 23, 2010 and to check in at the IFS world headquarters in NYC on May 7th or 8th for the contest on May 9th, 2010. The performance challenge consists of six exercises that the participant will be required to perform one after another without taking rest in between exercises. |
| The Exercises |
The challenge participant shall be required to perform hanging power cleans and progressive overhead shoulder presses. Participants will be judged on the maximum number of repetitions the participant can perform in one minute. Men must use a weight equal to at least half their bodyweight. Women must use a weight equal to at least one third of their bodyweight. The challenge participant shall be required to perform a sprint. The running portion of the challenge may be performed one of three ways. The running portion may be performed on a 400 meter track, on a treadmill set at 5% incline, or running against jump stretch bands. How the running portion of the challenge will be conducted will be determined by the number of challenge participants that register for the performance challenge in NYC. The challenge participant shall be required to perform push ups and pikes performed with feet elevated on a stability ball. Participants will be judged on the number of repetitions that they can perform in one minute. Men must perform push ups with their hands no more than seven inches apart. The challenge participant shall be required to perform crescent kicks. The kicks shall be performed in a manner striking a kicking pad with the foot moving in an arc from the outside edge of the body to the mid line of the body and then kicking the pad once again with the foot moving in an arc back from the mid line of the body towards the outside edge of the body. The challenge participant shall be required to perform wall sits by squatting in a position so that the thighs are parallel to the floor, feet shoulder width apart, back pressed up against the wall, butt off the wall and holding 2lb dumbbells up at shoulder height. Participants will be ranked by who can hold the position the longest. The participant shall perform the progressive drill by slipping a hook and then throwing a cross punch with their lead hand followed by a cross with the other hand to the focus mitt held by their exercise partner. After all exercises are completed the participant with the best combined score for all the exercises shall be named the IFS Performance Challenge Winner 2010. |
| The Prizes |
The IFS Body Transformation Challenge Winner shall receive a trip to NYC, a pair of Oakley Orockr sunglasses, a $250 gift certificate to Lululemon and a $350.00 gift certificate for the IFS online store. The IFS Performance Challenge Winner shall receive a trip to NYC, a Puma folding bike, a pair of Oakley Orockr sunglasses and a $350.00 gift certificate to certificate for the IFS online store. The top two runner ups, both men and women will receive a $250.00 gift certificate to the IFS online store and a choice between a $350.00 gift certificate to either Oakley, Puma, or Lululemon. The first 100 persons to sign up for the online training program will receive FREE IFS training gear including some of the following; IFS dvds, focus mitts, jump ropes, etc. |
